• Gentleman •

He's a kind person at heart. He respects anyone, those who are higher than him, equal, or lower than him. Also, he's a helpful person and he will offer a hand to anyone who needs it.

• Protective •

Seiji is a protective person. He always defends those who he thinks are being treated unfairly. He's willing to take whatever just to protect that person.

•  Pacifist •

Sei never believes that revolution will solve anything. Instead, he takes the word of his older brother, " Peace is the best way to solve any problem. ".

• Quiet •

Seiji is the type of person who doesn't talk that much. He will only do so if it's important, if not, he can just respond with his body actions.

• Cold •

To many people, Sei's an intimidating person. It's usually because of when people approaches him and/or try to communicate with him, he gives this look to them as if he's being too bored talking with them or judging them. However, he is not that person and he's actually a kind person.

• Blunt and Straight-forward •

Despite being a gentleman, Sei always says the first thing that comes into his mind. He also says it in the most blunt way possible for him without hurting the other person as much as possible.

Seiji can easily lost his focus and space out most of the time.This is because his mind is always cluttered with things he's curious about ( and swimming too, ofc ) thats making him distracted with the real-world.

BACKGROUND

Seiji Hanamura, a fairly average guy, is the youngest child of the Hanamura family. Their family consists of 4, with their father as the head. The Hanamura family is closely tied, their bonds is strong and each member is close with one another, especially with Sei and his brother Akihiko. Seiji treated him as his role-model, and he always looks up to him.

During his pre-school years, he met a girl younger than him. He "rescued" her as he saw the girl being bullied and teased by their classmates. Because of this, he became friends with her, closer as they both grow up.

At the age of 10, the last year of his grade school years, his older brother Akihiko left to Sapporo, their province, to help with his grandfather's work. This caused Seiji to change a little, from an energetic, expressive guy to a quiet, expressionless guy.As he was growing up, he did not know that he was being set up on an "arranged-marriage" with her mother to his childhood friend. As a memory of the "marriage", Seiji was given a key necklace, and his friend a lock necklace, signing the "deal" between the two family.Seiji became curious of this, asking his mother why would he give him a necklace all of a sudden, but her answers would always be silence. Because of this, Seiji never bothered asking again.

During his middle-school years, the Hanamura family were starting to pack up their bags to move back to their grandparent's home in Sapporo due to financial problems. Seiji's father thought that moving there would help them. Before they left, Seiji met up with his childhood friend and thanked her for being the first and best friend he had.

In Sapporo, Seiji, Akihiko and their father started working immediately, fishing as many types of fish they can get. This also got him in his near-death experience as he slipped one time on their boat, causing him to fall out of it and onto the sea. At first, he didn't knew how to swim so he sank, and only to be saved by his brother. Because of this event, he grew thankful for his brother and he look up to him even more than before. A few days after the incident, Seiji asked his brother to teach him how to swim, and thus he learned and started to love the sport.

When Seiji stepped onto his second year in high school, his grandfather died which put the Hanamura family into grief. However, the fishing business was given to Seiji's father, which is an upvote for them. After Seiji finished second year high-school, he's undecided whether to continue his studies or help his family because their business is lacking in man-power. But, his father told him that everything will be all right and it will be resolved soon so they pushed him to continue and finish his high-school years, but to a more affordable school. Thus, he found Ikehara High, a little far from where they were, and enrolled into the said school.
